Privacy notice

This website is purely informational. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party services into your browser and builds no profiles. For usage measurement we use a cookieless method served from our own domain. Below we inform you, under art. 13 and 14 GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which data is processed.

What data is processed

When you open the site your browser sends technically necessary data to our content delivery provider, which records it in server logs: truncated IP address, date and time of the request, the address requested, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer and user agent.

Purpose and legal basis

The processing serves to deliver the website, keep it operationally secure and fend off attacks. The legal basis is art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website.

Retention period

Server logs are deleted or anonymised after 90 days at the latest. This data is not combined with any other source.

Hosting and processing on our behalf

The site is hosted with Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront). The data sits in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland); delivery runs through edge locations worldwide. A data processing agreement under art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

Usage measurement with Plausible

We measure how this site is used with Plausible Analytics, a service of Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. Plausible works without cookies, without local storage and without identifiers that follow you across devices. No personal data is stored and no profiles are built.

The script and the collection endpoint are served from our own domain. Your browser therefore never opens a connection to a Plausible server — every request goes to suti.it.

What is recorded: the page requested, the referrer, browser, operating system, device type and country of origin. Country, browser and device are derived from the IP address and user agent, neither of which is stored or logged. To recognise a visit within a single day, Plausible hashes them together with a random value that changes daily and is then discarded, so the result cannot be traced back to you. Processing takes place on servers inside the EU.

The legal basis is art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a data-minimising analysis of how the site is used. Since no information on your device is accessed, no consent under art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 is required.

Local storage of your preference

If you use the switch in the header to change between light and dark appearance, your browser saves that choice in local storage under the key "suti-theme". The value stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and serves only to show the site the way you set it on your next visit. Without a click on the switch nothing is stored; you can delete the entry at any time through your browser's website data.

Contacting us by email

If you write to us we process your email address and the content of your message in order to answer it. The legal basis is art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the message once the enquiry is settled and no statutory retention period stands in the way.

No cookies, no third parties

No cookies are set and no profiles are built. Fonts, images and the measurement script live on our own server — no Google Fonts or comparable third-party services are loaded into your browser. Cookie notice

Your rights

You have the right of access (art. 15), rectification (art. 16), erasure (art. 17), restriction of processing (art. 18), data portability (art. 20) and objection (art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, write to the address given above.
